Responsibilities
- Design solutions aligned with product requirements, business priorities, enterprise standards, non-functional requirements, and fitness functions.
- Maintain architecture, technology roadmaps, current landscapes, reference architectures, patterns, and Architecture Decision Records for multiple solutions.
- Lead technical design and implementation of MES CORE PharmaSuite components, including deployment, configuration, hardening, and operational stability.
- Manage certificate provisioning, renewal, deployment, troubleshooting, and PKI across environments.
- Automate deployment, configuration, and operational tasks using Windows scripting and PowerShell, with Linux shell scripting as applicable.
- Operate and troubleshoot Windows- and Linux-based enterprise systems and Kubernetes containerized environments.
- Lead complex problem solving, root-cause analysis, technical escalations, technology evaluations, pilots, and adoption of new technologies.
- Create conceptual and logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways.
- Provide technical oversight, consultation, mentoring, stakeholder negotiation, and architecture-practice development.
- Ensure solutions and changes comply with GxP, GMP, GAMP5, CSV, Roche Quality Standards, risk assessments, test strategies, evidence, and validation practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing IT and MES environments, preferably with Rockwell PharmaSuite.
- Demonstrated experience designing business-driven, standards-based solutions in complex or multi-solution product contexts.
- Experience maintaining solution visions and roadmaps and assessing impacts across capabilities, risks, and application landscapes.
- Proven contribution to architecture-practice development and mentoring others.
- Expert-level knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, hardening, and operations.
- Strong PowerShell and Windows scripting experience; Linux shell scripting is a plus.
- Experience with Kubernetes containerization and orchestration.
- Experience with certificate management and PKI across environments.
- Proficiency in data modeling, taxonomies, ontologies, integration pathways, reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions.
- Strong troubleshooting and hands-on application engineering and operations experience for manufacturing-critical systems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
- Ability to work effectively with international and intercultural teams and proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
