Responsibilities
- Embed with client engineering and business teams to deploy, scale, and operationalize enterprise AI platforms.
- Own production outcomes including time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, scalability, and measurable business metrics.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into production-ready systems through rapid experimentation.
- Design and govern AI architectures spanning identity, data, security, governance, platform, and workflow integration.
- Build reusable patterns, playbooks, and accelerators for client teams.
- Lead design workshops, proofs of concept, architecture walkthroughs, and code-with sessions.
- Codify delivery learnings and contribute to scaling the Forward Deployed Engineering practice.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems, including APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless systems.
- At least 1 year of deep experience designing and deploying agentic solutions such as agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, and workflows in production.
- At least 3 years of experience with AI platforms including OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, and open-source models, including multi-provider abstraction layers.
- At least 10 years of experience with production deployment, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Terraform, Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership in a client-embedded environment.
- Ability to quantify deployment impact in business terms relevant to CFO-level stakeholders.
- Experience presenting to and building trust with senior client stakeholders at the CTO, CFO, or CISO level.
- Non-linear backgrounds are welcomed, with assessment based on demonstrated deployment experience and outcome ownership.
