Responsibilities
- Lead focused five-day, on-site enterprise deployment engagements with clear production outcomes.
- Design and build workflows, integrations, custom nodes, and scalable automation solutions for customer environments.
- Translate complex customer problems into practical technical designs and production-ready implementations.
- Partner with Deployment Strategists, Product, and Engineering to align deployments with customer priorities and identify reusable product improvements.
- Document technical gaps, customer context, implementation learnings, workflows, and integration patterns in internal playbooks.
- Deliver time-boxed engagements that customers can operate themselves while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience building integrations, APIs, or automation pipelines in production environments.
- Experience creating custom nodes, extending integrations, and working with APIs, authentication patterns, data models, and event-driven systems.
- Ability to distinguish between one-off workarounds, reusable node improvements, and product features.
- Confidence working directly with engineers, operators, and non-technical customer stakeholders.
- Strong solution-design and technical-judgment skills, including the ability to simplify and push back when appropriate.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50–60% of the time for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe.
- Ability to become productive quickly in unfamiliar industries, technology stacks, and customer environments.
- Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is preferred.
- Enterprise deployment experience, custom node or connector development, forward deployed or solutions engineering experience, and product-feedback experience are preferred.
