Responsibilities
- Conduct customer discovery sessions, workshops, solution design, and other pre-sales activities.
- Partner with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities, define scope, and develop technical proposals.
- Support RFP/RFI responses and present technical solutions to executive and technical stakeholders.
- Assess customer infrastructure environments and propose optimized architectures.
- Design and implement OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization.
- Lead migrations from traditional virtualization platforms to OpenShift.
- Provide technical leadership during delivery and ensure alignment with architectural best practices.
- Advise customers and partners on infrastructure and platform roadmaps.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering, Consulting, and Support teams to deliver solutions.
- Drive adoption of automation, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering roles.
- Proven pre-sales or customer-facing experience supporting complex solution sales cycles.
- Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and KVM, including migration strategies.
- Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar VM modernization approaches.
- Solid understanding of enterprise compute, storage, and networking infrastructure.
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Red Hat certifications are preferred.
