Responsibilities
- Develop common libraries and services and implement reference implementations.
- Coach client development teams in modern development methodologies and support developer-experience initiatives.
- Lead customer delivery and implementation of Red Hat cloud, infrastructure, and open-source solutions on-site or remotely.
- Define system architectures, software specifications, designs, testing approaches, and deployment plans.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans and prepare system and programming documentation.
- Advise customers on automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, failover, and broader IT needs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor while managing changing customer requirements.
- Deliver assigned project results on time and within scope, including project journals, status reports, and other documentation.
- Present to customers, lead customer interactions, and travel across EMEA when needed.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of infrastructure technologies at a delivery level.
- Experience implementing container technologies in enterprise settings and performing enterprise-wide deployments.
- Knowledge of one or more Red Hat infrastructure solutions, including Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or Ansible Automation Platform.
- Development experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python.
- DevOps experience with Helm, GitOps using Argo CD, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Good customer-facing, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of the open-source community.
- German proficiency at C1 level or above and English-language proficiency.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA and willingness to obtain security clearance.
- Prior consulting experience or Red Hat certifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of Keycloak, observability, service mesh, DevSecOps, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Microcks, OPL, JMeter, or Cucumber is a plus.
