Responsibilities
- Develop common libraries and services and implement reference applications.
- Lead on-site or remote delivery and implementation of Red Hat cloud, infrastructure, and open-source solutions.
- Advise customers on automation, reliability, scalability, maintainability, high availability, and failover architectures.
- Coach customer development teams in modern development practices and support developer-experience initiatives.
- Create conversion, system implementation, architecture, software specification, and design plans.
- Manage problem identification, testing, deployment, documentation, project journals, and status reports.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor for customers' technical, developmental, and strategic IT needs.
- Present to customers, lead customer interactions, and adapt solutions to changing requirements.
Requirements
- Excellent delivery-level knowledge of infrastructure technologies.
- Experience implementing container technologies in enterprise environments and deploying them across an enterprise.
- Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, or Ansible Automation Platform.
- Cloud-native development experience with Java and Spring Boot or Python.
- Experience with Helm, Argo CD/GitOps, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Strong customer-facing, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
- German proficiency at C1 level or above and English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel across EMEA when needed.
- Prior consulting experience or Red Hat certifications is a plus.
- Willingness to obtain security clearance is a plus.
- Understanding of the open-source community.
