Responsibilities
- Develop customer applications for work order management, scheduling, and dispatch using ServiceNow TSM/OMT.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify functionality within custom ServiceNow instances.
- Enhance ServiceNow event rules to support proper CMDB binding.
- Work with technical SMEs to gather environment information for service mapping and event work.
- Develop interfaces for different user audiences across custom application models and Service Portals.
- Develop integrated logic and functional components that interface with ServiceNow internal services and APIs.
- Install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow TSM/OMT products for discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and Multisource CMDB.
- Configure MID servers, Service Mapping command-line consoles, patterns, identification rules, and multi-tier service discovery.
Requirements
- Experience with TSM/OMT in ServiceNow.
- Ability to communicate and implement TSM/OMT solutions.
- Experience developing interfaces for custom application models or Service Portals.
- Experience developing integrated logic and functional components using ServiceNow internal services and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of service-oriented and distributed enterprise application architecture, including web services, data access and persistence, and client/server systems.
- Understanding of credential-less and credential-based Discovery.
- Ability to prevent duplicate CIs using CI identifiers.
- Ability to extend Horizontal Discovery with custom Infrastructure Patterns and Application Patterns.
- Ability to configure, manage, and maintain MID servers.
- Proficiency with the Service Mapping command-line console, pattern migration between environments, and Identification Rules.
- Knowledge of multi-tier service Discovery and advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
