Responsibilities
- Define reference architectures for LLM and RAG solutions on AWS across data ingestion, retrieval, orchestration, security, and cost.
- Build and review full-stack implementations using Python, Django, and React.
- Lead solution discovery, architecture reviews, and proof-of-concepts with customers and internal teams.
- Select and evaluate models, vector stores, and frameworks while establishing evaluation, observability, and governance practices.
- Ensure AI systems are scalable, reliable, private, and compliant.
- Guide engineering teams and produce architecture documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with solution or software architecture experience.
- Strong Python, Django, React, and AWS architecture skills, including familiarity with Bedrock, SageMaker, ECS/EKS, Lambda, and OpenSearch.
- Required experience designing and shipping LLM and RAG systems, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation.
- Strong system design, APIs, data modeling, and security skills.
- Ability to communicate with and present to technical and executive audiences.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification, fine-tuning experience, MLOps experience, and pre-sales or consulting experience are preferred.
