Responsibilities
- Lead sophisticated technical initiatives across the organization and multiple domains.
- Drive technical direction, roadmaps, architectural decisions, and long-term technology vision.
- Own complex projects and large functional areas from conception through successful implementation.
- Author and steward Architecture Decision Records that guide technical strategy.
- Lead large multi-team initiatives by defining milestones, managing technical risk, and resolving dependencies.
- Improve engineering productivity, development practices, and flexibility across the application ecosystem.
- Provide organization-level leadership through design reviews, code reviews, mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop innovative solutions aligned with development goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or another related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in native mobile development.
- Ability to translate requirements into clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable software designs.
- Deep expertise across multiple large functional areas and strong systems thinking.
- Experience acting as a technical authority, shaping technical direction, setting standards, and guiding architectural decisions across teams.
- Experience leading large, complex, multi-team initiatives and managing technical risks and dependencies.
- Strong decision-making, ownership, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and coaching skills.
- Ability to identify system gaps, risks, and opportunities; define durable solutions and multi-quarter roadmaps; and drive alignment and execution.
