Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, prototype, and productionize multi-step LLM agents with orchestration, routing, memory, retrieval, and evaluation capabilities.
  • Build and maintain observable, robust, scalable production code and systems for the AI platform.
  • Evaluate and integrate techniques including tool use, planning, retrieval, evaluation frameworks, fine-tuning, and prompt optimization.
  • Improve agent quality through evaluations, error analysis, feedback loops, and measurable fixes.
  • Partner with quantitative research, product, and engineering teams to onboard federated agent workflows onto the platform.
  • Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
  • Analyze large, diverse datasets and develop visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
  • Contribute to technical direction, agent design standards, evaluation practices, and safe deployment approaches.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of applied experience with infrastructure engineering concepts or formal training/certification in those concepts.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Python coding skills and experience owning production code.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, ECS, Bedrock, OpenSearch, vector databases, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience building with LLMs, including agent frameworks, tool use, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and evaluations.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, LLM observability, or fine-tuning open-weight models.
  • Strong understanding of modern GenAI capabilities, failure modes, and practical mitigation strategies.
  • Preferred experience with OpenSearch, vector databases, and PostgreSQL.
