Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Manage code promotion, deployments, release schedules, and Salesforce environment strategy.
- Automate validation, testing, PMD scans, and Checkmarx security scans.
- Support Salesforce metadata deployments using SFDX CLI, Salesforce APIs, and deployment tooling.
- Implement branching strategies, repository workflows, and governance standards across development teams.
- Manage SSO certificate renewals and platform release readiness activities.
- Coordinate releases with developers, architects, and administrators across multiple development teams.
- Monitor deployment health and continuously improve DevOps processes and automation.
- Manage the end-to-end Salesforce deployment and release lifecycle independently.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce DevOps or release management experience.
- Expertise with Salesforce metadata structure, deployment strategies, environment administration, and release processes.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and release automation with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency with Git version control, branching strategies, pull request workflows, and repository management.
- Experience with SFDX CLI, Salesforce APIs, deployment automation scripts, and release tooling.
- Experience automating PMD code-quality scans and Checkmarx application-security scans.
- Experience with SSO certificate renewal processes and Salesforce environment administration.
- Experience coordinating releases across multiple development teams and managing release governance.
- BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, risk-management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of Platform Events, Salesforce integration patterns, Copado, Gearset, or other Salesforce DevOps tools is preferred.
- Experience with PowerShell or Python for infrastructure automation and scripting is preferred.
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification is preferred.
