Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise AI/ML, Generative AI, and AI infrastructure strategy and architecture engagements.
- Define target-state architectures and phased adoption roadmaps covering infrastructure, training, inference, RAG, MLOps/LLMOps, application integration, governance, and operations.
- Design GPU-enabled Kubernetes platforms, virtualized and bare-metal AI infrastructure, multi-cluster environments, and shared multi-tenant AI platforms.
- Architect RAG, LLM inference, model serving, fine-tuning, AI agents, enterprise copilots, and production-grade AI application platforms.
- Define MLOps and LLMOps workflows for data preparation, training, evaluation, registration, deployment, monitoring, and retirement.
- Automate AI platform provisioning, Kubernetes clusters, GPU infrastructure, workspaces, model deployments, inference endpoints, and RAG pipelines.
- Architect data, storage, networking, security, governance, responsible AI, observability, performance, and cost-optimization solutions for AI workloads.
- Lead executive architecture workshops, technical discovery, customer enablement, strategic escalations, and complex architecture decisions.
- Review architectures developed by Staff Consulting Architects and Consultants, mentor technical staff, and build organizational AI capability.
- Create reference architectures, implementation guides, automation frameworks, solution templates, technical content, and product feedback for Nutanix teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, Kubernetes, AI/ML platforms, or related technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or an equivalent discipline.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering enterprise AI/ML platforms and AI infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Nutanix AHV or equivalent virtualization, GPU-enabled infrastructure, Linux, and container technologies.
- Strong experience with Nutanix AI Platform or equivalent enterprise AI platforms and Kubernetes-based AI platforms.
- Deep understanding of GPU architecture, scheduling, CUDA, GPU Operators, resource management, and performance optimization.
- Experience with several AI/ML frameworks and platforms, including NVIDIA NeMo, NVIDIA NIM, Triton, KServe, Kubeflow, and MLflow.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, embedding models, vector databases, model serving, fine-tuning, inference, and RAG architectures.
- Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and Ansible, plus CI/CD, GitOps, and platform automation.
- Strong understanding of enterprise storage, networking, security, and data architecture for AI workloads.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, Kubernetes, GPU, networking, storage, and AI platform issues.
- Proven ability to lead complex customer engagements and architecture decisions with excellent consulting, presentation, and executive communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes NVIDIA AI Enterprise, NVIDIA DGX or HGX, NVIDIA networking, InfiniBand, RoCE, GPU partitioning, Ray, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Flowise, vector databases, AI agents, multimodal AI, public cloud AI services, hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, governance, FinOps, and responsible AI.
- Preferred certifications include Nutanix NCP, NAI or relevant Nutanix AI certification, NCX, CKA, CKAD, NVIDIA certifications, Terraform Associate, AWS/Azure certifications, and relevant AI/ML or cloud architecture certifications.
- A master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related discipline is advantageous.
