Responsibilities
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture and solution designs aligned with business strategy and technology standards.
- Design scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions for complex business and technology environments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to business challenges.
- Identify opportunities to maximize technology investment through simplification, reuse, and modernization.
- Partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders on architecture solutions balancing business needs, risk, scalability, and performance.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical expertise from strategy through implementation.
- Ensure architecture decisions align with enterprise standards, security requirements, and best practices.
- Influence technology direction across multiple teams through technical thought leadership and architectural decision-making.
- Apply hands-on development skills, including SCM, CI/CD, and related tooling.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Advanced degree preferred.
- 13–20 years of experience in technology and architecture roles.
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong leadership, influencing, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a non-hierarchical culture and promote transparency, trust, and open collaboration.
- Willingness to participate hands-on in execution and learning while motivating the team to do the same.
