Responsibilities
- Lead technical delivery across multiple Guidewire initiatives and transformation programs.
- Translate solution designs into executable implementation plans with Architecture partners.
- Manage dependencies, technical risks, delivery predictability, and cross-functional execution.
- Facilitate technical decision-making, design reviews, and implementation planning.
- Drive engineering best practices, governance, quality standards, automation, reusable frameworks, and engineering accelerators.
- Lead production readiness, performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Coordinate critical production incidents and major release activities.
- Mentor technical leads and senior engineers.
- Guide teams through complex Guidewire implementations, modernization initiatives, and cloud transformation challenges.
Requirements
- 15+ years of overall software engineering experience.
- 9+ years of Guidewire Insurance Suite experience.
- 7+ years of advanced Gosu, Java/Spring Boot, and REST API experience.
- 5+ years leading multiple delivery teams or large-scale programs.
- Strong experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations and modernization initiatives.
- Experience driving cloud transformation and Guidewire Cloud Platform adoption.
- Experience leading technical strategy and execution across cross-functional teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influence without direct authority.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and technical leads.
- Ability to manage technical risks, dependencies, and large-scale enterprise delivery.
- Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English.
- Ability to provide three hours of overlap with the US Pacific Time zone.
