Base Salary
$164k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and scale features for membership benefits and engagement experiences.
- Build and iterate on APIs and UI components for Chime's mobile app.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to define experiments and ship solutions.
- Use a metrics-driven approach to prioritize efforts based on member and business impact.
- Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Mentor team members and drive best practices in technical excellence.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software development experience in a production environment.
- Proven experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.
- Proficiency in modern front-end technologies like React or TypeScript.
- A product mindset focused on experimentation and measuring impact.
- Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
- Experience with transactional databases, caching systems, and API design.
- Comfortable working across the stack and understanding system integration.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks is a plus.
