Responsibilities
- Drive architectural and design decisions, contribute to team priorities, and advise on strategic technology selection.
- Build and operate production-scale systems powering foundational recommendation capabilities and customer-facing user experiences.
- Develop cross-platform mobile applications with React Native and integrate native modules when needed.
- Ensure operational excellence through mobile CI/CD, monitoring, and observability.
- Advise on business priorities and product requirements from a technical and engineering perspective.
- Lead technical discussions, reduce ambiguity, break work into manageable tasks, and share expertise with the team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React.
- Experience with React Native libraries including Redux, React Navigation, and Axios.
- Demonstrated experience building cross-platform mobile applications and integrating React Native with native modules.
- Strong experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications and with monitoring and observability.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and drive decisions independently in high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
- Experience with Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Experience in the e-commerce industry is a bonus.
