Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Angular web applications using TypeScript.
- Develop applications based on Micro Frontend architecture and create reusable frontend components and shared libraries.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate on API contracts, models, versioning, and integration concepts.
- Implement state management and reliable data-flow concepts.
- Develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.
- Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Optimize startup time, lazy loading, bundle size, and runtime performance.
- Identify and resolve technical, performance, and architectural issues.
- Contribute to frontend architecture, technical standards, and technology decisions.
- Support and mentor frontend developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes-based development and deployment environments.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
- Collaborate with UX/UI, Product, Backend, DevOps, and Architecture teams.
Requirements
- Several years of professional experience in Angular and TypeScript development.
- Strong knowledge of Angular components, services, dependency injection, routing, forms, guards, interceptors, and standalone components.
- Strong understanding of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/SCSS.
- Practical experience with Micro Frontend architectures, preferably Module Federation.
- Experience with reusable components, shared libraries, modularization, dependency management, and frontend architecture.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with API models, contracts, DTOs, and versioning.
- Experience with RxJS, Observables, asynchronous programming, and state management approaches such as Angular Signals or NgRx.
- Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Understanding of clean code principles, software design patterns, HTTP, caching, CORS, browser behavior, web application security, responsive design, and web accessibility.
- Experience with Git, pull requests, code reviews, npm, and package/dependency management.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, lazy loading, code splitting, and bundle optimization.
- Practical experience with Docker and good understanding of Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Scrum or Kanban development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, ownership, decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English; German language skills are a plus but not required.
