Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of complex backend features, distributed microservices, and asynchronous APIs optimized for throughput, latency, and fault tolerance.
- Design event-driven data pipelines, real-time message integrations, serverless functions, and distributed caching strategies.
- Implement error-handling patterns, automated database migrations, and secure OAuth 2.0, JWT, and RBAC authentication and authorization flows.
- Implement micro frontend architecture and low-latency user interface systems.
- Manage cloud infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code, optimize containerized environments, and establish observability using tracing, metrics, and logging.
- Maintain automated unit, integration, and load-test coverage; conduct performance profiling; and support team growth through code reviews, pair programming, and technical guidance.
Requirements
- Require 5+ years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years with high-level backend languages, frontend development with Angular, and 2+ years scaling production distributed systems.
- Strong command of microservices communication, event streaming and message brokers, containerization, and event-sourcing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with major cloud ecosystems, serverless compute, managed storage, IAM, Infrastructure as Code tools, and secure API design principles.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical initiatives, analytical ability, communication skills, and experience leading alignment discussions in Agile environments.
- Preferred: experience bridging modern cloud architectures with legacy database infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience optimizing automated CI/CD pipelines, high-availability setups, and disaster recovery planning.
- Preferred: familiarity with Prometheus/Grafana telemetry dashboards and performance profiling tools.
