$164k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop Backstage-powered UIs with TypeScript and React.
- Build Node.js backend services for dataset discovery and metadata management.
- Maintain connectors that sync datasets from data warehouses into the Data Registry.
- Collaborate with customers and data teams to identify problems and iterate on solutions.
- Lead projects from conceptualization through deployment and customer support.
Requirements
- Experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies such as TypeScript and React.
- Understanding of data engineering concepts like data quality and governance.
- Strong technical opinions and good judgment with openness to feedback.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with engineers and product managers.
