Responsibilities
- Review requirements and design specs to develop test plans and test cases.
- Automate API tests, end-to-end tests, and reliability/scale tests.
- Collaborate with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts.
- Document and communicate quality engineering plans for scrum teams.
- Review application code to identify bugs and architect tools for coverage.
- Automate critical features to maintain a zero-debt cadence.
- Release features with high quality and respond to production issues during on-call rotation.
- Advocate for customer needs with a strong focus on quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of quality engineering experience, preferably in an enterprise SaaS company.
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering for enterprise-level software.
- 5+ years of experience in Python/Java-based automation development.
- Familiarity with tools like Selenium, TestCafe, Postman, Jmeter, and AWS.
- Expertise in test planning and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience with distributed systems at large scale.
- Ability to write and review designs and code collaboratively.
- Experience with non-HTTP-based protocols and networking.
