Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship AI-native product experiences used by clinicians and patients.
- Design and develop LLM-powered systems and agents that automate and augment healthcare workflows.
- Own AI features from prototyping and experimentation through production deployment, evaluation, and iteration.
- Build evaluation, monitoring, and feedback systems to improve AI quality, reliability, and performance.
- Work across models, prompts, tools, retrieval systems, and application infrastructure to solve product problems.
- Collaborate with clinicians and engineers to identify high-impact opportunities for AI in healthcare workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional software engineering experience in high-quality environments.
- Experience building and shipping LLM-powered applications or AI products in production.
- Fluency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with modern LLM APIs, agentic systems, tool calling, retrieval, structured outputs, or similar applied AI patterns.
- Ability to reason about evaluations, reliability, latency, cost, and failure modes.
- Comfort moving across the stack and experimenting with new models, frameworks, and techniques.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
