Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software components for the Nara AI-native content creation platform.
- Implement backend services, media-processing pipelines, APIs, ML model integrations, and creator-facing tooling across the stack.
- Write tested and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with engineers, scientists, product managers, and creative professionals.
- Integrate with digital content creation tools including Adobe Animate, After Effects, Maya, and Storyboard Pro.
- Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and improve monitoring, alerting, documentation, and system reliability.
- Build creator tooling and live-action/VFX workflow features while iterating directly with animators, filmmakers, and VFX artists.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor ’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
