Base Salary
$70k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications using Java, Spring-based frameworks, and microservices architecture.
- Build cloud-based software applications using public cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Implement integrations using messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Service Bus.
- Build applications using databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Build and consume REST API-based integrations.
- Use CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
- Apply software testing approaches and tools including JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Use chaos testing and SRE practices to build highly resilient cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate on engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and understanding complex customer needs and transactions.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java Spring-based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud and cloud-based technologies, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus.
- Experience building applications with databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with REST API-based integration and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with software application testing approaches and tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Experience with chaos testing and other SRE practices for highly resilient cloud software.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
