Base Salary
$144k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production agentic AI systems using LLMs, knowledge graphs, retrieval-augmented generation, and multi-agent orchestration.
- Build GenAI pipelines for summarization, content ranking, skill assessment, and intelligent routing with attention to latency, quality, and cost.
- Develop prompt engineering strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails for production LLM systems.
- Implement embedding and retrieval strategies for indexing, retrieving, and contextualizing domain expertise.
- Design and build scalable distributed systems and APIs for the Technical Field Community Hub.
- Own operational excellence, including CI/CD, monitoring, alarming, on-call, and incident response.
- Contribute to technical strategy and architecture decisions and improve system performance, reliability, and developer velocity.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Science, and field stakeholders to translate customer problems into technical solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development life-cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
