Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX, PM, QA, and other engineers to design and maintain scalable microservices.
- Define best practices and select technologies to enhance the tech stack.
- Champion quality integration and unit testing.
- Address scaling challenges and implement robust solutions.
- Provide design feedback and participate in code reviews.
- Monitor feature rollouts for customer success and iterate as needed.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain resilient systems.
- Diagnose performance bottlenecks and optimize for better performance.
- Ensure quality delivery and appropriate monitoring in production.
- Mentor other team members.
Requirements
- Proficient in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented language.
- Deep understanding of testing, quality, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with asynchronous communication tools like Pulsar, JMS, or Kafka.
- Proven track record of delivering reliable services to production.
- Excellent communication skills for simplifying complex concepts.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Experience making an impact on previous projects or products.
- Enthusiasm for solving impactful challenges and writing clean code.
- Experience in the IAM space is preferred.
- Exposure to distributed systems is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
