Responsibilities
- Lead complex enterprise-wide SAP RE-FX and S/4HANA initiatives and deliver scalable long-term solutions.
- Design, configure, test, debug, implement, and document SAP functional services, workflows, APIs, BAPIs, reports, and integration components.
- Support SAP Real Estate Management, Contract and Lease Management, lease accounting, real estate valuation, lease administration, and related FICO, Asset Accounting, and Project Systems processes.
- Implement and support FASB 842 and IFRS 16 lease accounting compliance within RE-FX.
- Lead or support Business Partner conversion activities and ECC/R/3-to-S/4HANA transformation projects.
- Design and support synchronous, asynchronous, event-based, streaming, REST API, ETL, and ELT integrations across on-premises, SaaS, custom, COTS, and cloud-native systems.
- Develop end-to-end solution designs covering data flows, interfaces, integrations, resiliency, security, reporting, and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Lead testing and quality activities, configuration and design reviews, troubleshooting, production support, and issue resolution.
- Gather business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, provide functional expertise, and prepare training and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Serve as a technical subject-matter expert and advisor to business teams, architects, developers, administrators, leaders, and external vendors.
- Lead projects and technical workstreams, mentor engineers, influence cross-functional teams, and drive delivery commitments and platform reliability.
- Identify emerging technologies and innovations that improve operational efficiency, controls, reporting, and business enablement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of specialty software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of technology delivery and relationship-management experience with business units in a large corporate environment.
- At least 5 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience with S/4HANA Digital Core modules and S/4HANA data integration solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience with S/4HANA, SAP BTP, Fiori, SAP Workflow, and SAP RISE.
- At least 5 years of experience leading or participating in at least three full-cycle R/3/ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects as a technical lead.
- At least 4 years evaluating and advising product teams on technology trends and product innovations.
- Strong expertise in SAP RE-FX, Contracts and Lease Management, Real Estate Accounting, Real Estate Valuation, SAP FICO, Asset Accounting, Project Systems, and related SAP processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP FI, AP, AR, GL, AA, MM, PS, Ariba, CLM/RE-FX, and EPPM architectures and integrations.
- Experience with SAP BTP integration, SAP Analytics Cloud, Clean Core adoption, SAP standard processes, fit-to-standard principles, solution design, data migration, extension strategy, security or authorizations, reporting, testing, and cutover.
- At least 3 years of experience with data lakes, Databricks, and other data-management platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience with SAP GRC, SAP MDG, SAP Ariba, and supply-chain integration with S/4HANA.
- Experience with service-to-service communication, enterprise integration patterns, microservices architectures, and API-first design.
- At least 5 years of financial services experience, corporate real estate applications, commercial real estate technology, or related lease and real estate management processes is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in hybrid and virtual environments across time zones and organizational boundaries.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, influencing, and relationship-management skills.
