Responsibilities

  • Design and build high-volume, low-latency, high-availability backend applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Write clean, testable, specification-compliant Java code and manage software components through release.
  • Integrate LLM APIs, AI/ML capabilities, RAG, semantic search, and intelligent backend services into Java applications.
  • Build autonomous AI agents for root cause analysis, self-healing, and intelligent test automation.
  • Partner with Adobe product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, drive product adoption, and enable self-service platform engineering.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools and support continuous architectural improvements.

Requirements

  • Require 5–8 years of experience building scalable, multithreaded server-side applications with Java/Java EE, Spring Framework, and object-oriented design patterns.
  • Require deep proficiency with relational databases, SQL, high-performance transactional queries, MongoDB, JPA2, and Hibernate.
  • Require hands-on experience integrating OpenAI, Claude, or Gemini APIs into Java services using Spring AI or LangChain4j.
  • Require experience with prompt engineering, context management, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecture.
  • Require understanding of model deployment, cost and latency optimization, responsible AI guardrails, privacy, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Require practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Cursor.
