Responsibilities
- Build software applications and enhancements supporting fund accounting and trade processing technology.
- Develop integrations, transaction-processing systems, data warehouses, RESTful services, and interactive web interfaces.
- Deliver system upgrades and features that improve resiliency, capacity, automation, controls, and vendor integrations.
- Help transition applications to cloud platforms and improve platform stability, scalability, and performance.
- Work with DevOps teams to resolve operational issues and use CI/CD platforms and DevOps practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams on cross-departmental initiatives.
Requirements
- Require 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience focused on Python, Java, or .NET technologies.
- Require strong Java and SQL development experience, including large-scale data warehouse development.
- Require experience with messaging architectures, high-volume streaming, and/or transaction-processing systems.
- Require experience building and consuming RESTful services and building microservices on Kubernetes-based platforms and AWS.
- Require experience with Angular or React for interactive web interfaces and familiarity with Redis and MongoDB.
- Require knowledge of financial products such as fixed income, credit, equities, and derivatives, plus related accounting, settlement, and affirmation processing.
- Require experience with industry-known prime broker reconciliation software and strong communication, problem-solving, analytical, and ethical standards.
