Responsibilities
- Build software applications and enhancements supporting fund accounting and trade processing technology.
- Develop high-capacity integrations, transaction-processing systems, data warehouse capabilities, and solutions for new financial products.
- Implement system upgrades, resiliency and capacity improvements, automation, controls, and vendor or service integrations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver software solutions and cross-departmental initiatives.
- Help transition applications to cloud platforms and improve platform stability, scalability, and performance.
- Work with DevOps teams to resolve operational issues and leverage CI/CD platforms and DevOps practices.
Requirements
- Require 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience focused on Python, Java, or .NET technologies.
- Require strong SQL development skills and experience building large-scale data warehouses.
- Require experience with messaging architectures, high-volume streaming, and/or transaction-processing systems.
- Require experience building and consuming RESTful services.
- Require strong Java experience and experience building microservices on Kubernetes-based platforms and AWS.
- Require experience designing and building interactive web interfaces using Angular or React.
- Require familiarity with Redis and MongoDB, prime broker reconciliation software, and financial products including fixed income, credit, equities, and derivatives.
- Require knowledge of associated accounting, settlement, and affirmation processing.
- Require strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, understanding of agile methodologies, and commitment to high ethical standards.
