Responsibilities
- Develop Java and Spring Boot backend microservices using Kafka and cloud platforms.
- Design and develop technical solutions from business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Lead technical aspects of API framework design and development.
- Work with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, REST, Kubernetes, containers, and workflow tools.
- Assess application and process improvement opportunities and obtain stakeholder alignment.
- Communicate risks, issues, blockers, challenges, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and the team.
- Understand production incidents and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
Requirements
- 7+ years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Basic database knowledge and understanding of microservices architecture.
- Experience with API framework design and development.
- Preferred familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred knowledge of Kafka.
