Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java-based microservices and backend applications using Spring Boot.
- Design and develop API frameworks and technical solutions based on business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Work with Kafka, REST, SOAP, cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and containers.
- Assess application and process improvement opportunities and secure stakeholder buy-in.
- Communicate risks, issues, blockers, challenges, and upcoming tasks to stakeholders and teams.
- Support production incident analysis and root-cause analysis for delivered features.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Java, microservices, and Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, web services, microservices, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience with at least one cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
- Basic database knowledge and experience with TDD and BDD.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Preferred familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab, CI/CD practices, and Camunda BPM.
