Responsibilities
- Understand software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design and maintain automation frameworks and reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, and automated validation processes for functional, non-functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Design, implement, execute, and update automated testing tools and report coverage and quality metrics.
- Track defects, resolutions, bug fixes, mitigation techniques, deployment risks, and issue escalations.
- Collaborate with development, Agile delivery, business, testing, client, and internal stakeholder teams.
- Support acceptance criteria, test automation backlogs, continuous deployment practices, and automation roadmap development.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and maintain complete automation and testing documentation.
Requirements
- Mandatory experience with test automation.
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Ability to design and develop automation solutions, test frameworks, reusable libraries, and automated testing tools.
- Knowledge of functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and software validation testing.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to create technical specifications, test plans, test cases, defect documentation, and project documentation.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, and clients.
