Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-volume, highly available Java backend services for Adobe’s enterprise integration platform.
- Build and operate API- and event-driven integrations using Kafka and cloud platforms.
- Integrate LLMs, AI APIs, RAG, MCP, and AI agents into Java platform services.
- Develop intelligent capabilities for automated monitoring, triage, root-cause analysis, remediation, and developer self-service.
- Optimize database access, performance, scalability, model deployment, and AI cost and latency.
- Apply responsible AI guardrails addressing privacy and hallucination mitigation.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience building scalable, multithreaded server-side applications with Java or Java EE, Spring Framework, and object-oriented design patterns.
- Deep proficiency with relational databases, SQL, high-performance transactional queries, MongoDB, JPA2, and Hibernate.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs or AI APIs such as OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini into Java services.
- Experience with Spring AI or LangChain4j, prompt engineering, and context management.
- Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Milvus, or pgvector and Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecture.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot and Cursor.
- Understanding of model deployment, cost and latency optimization, and responsible AI guardrails.
