Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, modify, train, evaluate, and tune machine learning and computer vision algorithms and models.
- Develop techniques for object detection, object recognition, image classification, and related AI applications.
- Build scalable machine learning systems and data-driven products using large datasets and cross-functional collaboration.
- Shape applied ML/AI product strategy through customer engagements, solution teams, discovery workshops, and prototyping.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of ML/AI team members.
- Engage with the broader ML/AI community through research, publications, speaking, teaching, or collaborations.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of work or educational experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience creating and applying machine learning algorithms to real-world problems involving large datasets.
- Programming experience in one or more of Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks, computer vision libraries, big-data platforms, cloud services, or related ML technologies.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, statistical modeling, data extraction and analysis, feature learning, text mining, prediction models, and neural networks.
- Experience with one or more areas such as natural language processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, or ranking systems.
- Contribution to research communities or publications at conferences such as NIPS, ICML, ACL, or CVPR is desirable.
