Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and modify computer vision and machine learning algorithms and models.
- Design, tune, train, evaluate, and apply machine learning and computer vision algorithms to real-world problems.
- Research and prototype object detection, object recognition, image classification, and other neural-network techniques.
- Build scalable machine learning systems and data-driven products using large datasets and cross-functional collaboration.
- Shape applied ML and AI product strategy through customer engagement, discovery workshops, solution teams, and prototyping initiatives.
- Support recruitment, training, and development of ML and AI team members.
- Engage with the broader ML and AI community through research, speaking, teaching, collaborations, or similar activities.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of work or educational experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence.
- Experience creating and applying machine learning algorithms to real-world problems involving large datasets.
- Experience building scalable machine learning systems and data-driven products.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience with image or video vision libraries and platforms such as OpenCV, Clarifai, or Google Cloud Vision.
- Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, statistical modeling, data extraction, and analysis.
- Experience with feature learning, text mining, prediction models, deep learning, collaborative filtering, support vector machines, or random forests.
- Experience with big-data computation platforms or tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Tableau, HBase, or Kafka.
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Microsoft, IBM, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with natural language processing, text understanding, classification, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, ranking systems, or similar areas.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Advanced degree, research-community contributions, and publications at conferences such as NIPS, ICML, ACL, or CVPR are preferred.
- Knowledge of embedded vision processing systems and open-source tools and platforms is preferred.
- Generative AI and prompt engineering experience are listed as mandatory skills in an additional posting section.
