Base Salary

$107k - $216k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve customer-facing full-stack software solutions.
  • Build scalable web and middle-tier applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Develop cloud-enabled applications and manage deployments using Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
  • Implement API authentication, RBAC authorization, SAML/OIDC, and web services integrations.
  • Create unit tests and test automation strategies using relevant testing frameworks and libraries.
  • Collaborate with Architecture, Development, User Experience, and Product Owner teams to design new features.
  • Perform code reviews and coach, mentor, and motivate junior software engineers.
  • Help the Scrum team adopt development and automation frameworks, standard methodologies, and process improvements.
  • Analyze business logic, translate it into technical requirements, and deliver software in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of software development experience.
  • Expertise with Java, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, and scalable web and middle-tier applications.
  • Hands-on experience with API authentication, RBAC authorization, SAML/OIDC, JSON, XML, REST, SOAP, and HTTP.
  • Experience with Docker, AWS cloud deployment and application management, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with unit testing, test automation libraries and strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong foundation in software design, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience delivering software in Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, organizational, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring engineers and performing code reviews.
  • Brokerage or financial services application development experience is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of design systems and web security attack methods and defenses is a plus.

  • Annual base salary range of $107,000-$216,000 USD, with potential bonus or other variable compensation depending on eligibility.
