Base Salary
$107k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve scalable customer-facing software solutions.
- Build web and middle-tier applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, and related technologies.
- Develop cloud-enabled applications and manage deployments using Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Implement unit testing and test automation frameworks and contribute to solving test and process challenges.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, user experience, and product teams to design new features.
- Coach and mentor junior engineers, perform code reviews, and guide adoption of development and automation frameworks.
- Translate business logic into technical requirements and deliver software in an Agile Scrum environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Expertise building scalable web and middle-tier applications with Java, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, and Angular.
- Hands-on experience with API authentication, RBAC authorization, SAML, OIDC, web services, JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP.
- Strong foundation in software design, data structures, algorithms, and cloud-enabled application development.
- Experience with Docker, AWS cloud deployment and application management, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with unit testing and test automation frameworks or libraries including JUnit, Cucumber, Selenium, and Serenity.
- Experience with TypeScript, HTTP, Agile development, Scrum, code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
- Brokerage or financial services application development experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of design systems and web security attack methods and defenses is preferred.
