Responsibilities
- Lead AWS migration initiatives from planning and assessment through execution, validation, and post-migration support.
- Build and manage cloud services and infrastructure across Azure and AWS using infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Operate Windows and Linux systems and maintain cloud infrastructure according to site reliability engineering principles.
- Own and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery processes and automate application delivery workflows.
- Consult with project and product teams on cloud service usage and support technical solution design.
- Work with stakeholders to define requirements, identify project risks, and create status reports.
- Document processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement system improvements.
- Coach and mentor team members and potentially provide line management for DevOps Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree level education or a relevant professional qualification in a field such as IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts, Agile principles, and Scrum-team practices.
- Team leader experience on previous projects.
- Demonstrated training and/or applied experience as a coach or mentor.
- Experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, configuration management, operating systems, scripting, source control, application servers, databases, CI/CD, monitoring, telemetry, logging, and service-support tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, initiative, time-management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with APM tooling and knowledge of OWASP SAMM are nice to have.
- Experience with Snyk, Azure Defender, or NeuVector and cloud-vendor certification are nice to have.
