Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, train, and fine-tune state-of-the-art language models.
- Develop AI agents combined with retrieval-augmented language models.
- Build efficient and scalable machine learning training and inference systems.
- Track current research literature and emerging technologies to solve novel problems.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to develop intuitive applications with societal impact.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with PyTorch and Transformers.
- Experience advancing cutting-edge machine learning.
- Ability to independently pitch, plan, and implement projects as an owner.
- Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and provide leadership as the team grows.
- Visa to work in Canada or the United States.
- Strong open-source portfolio is a bonus.
- Publications at top-tier machine learning venues are a bonus.
- Early-stage startup experience is a bonus.
- Understanding of how machine learning models fail in real-world settings is a bonus.
