Responsibilities
- Develop native mobile applications for iOS or Android retail client projects.
- Build polished mobile user interfaces with high-performance animations.
- Work on mobile SDKs, integrations, analytics, advertising, or attribution frameworks as required by client projects.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, clarify requirements, and guide technical and business teams in technology selection.
- Drive initiatives across client organizations and contribute to architectural decisions and long-term technical direction.
- Participate in discovery, concepting, and iterative delivery in addition to implementation.
- Own testing, debugging, monitoring, troubleshooting, and production quality across the development lifecycle.
- Use backend, API, database, or cloud infrastructure knowledge when projects extend beyond mobile development.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience in native iOS development using Swift and/or Objective-C.
- Strong professional experience in native Android development using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Several years of professional experience building sufficient depth across both mobile ecosystems.
- Experience taking ownership of testing throughout implementation and release.
- Experience with production app monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Experience engaging multiple stakeholders to solve challenging and ambiguous problems.
- Fluent written and verbal English.
- Experience with SwiftUI and/or Jetpack Compose is preferred.
- Experience with reactive programming and Flutter is preferred.
- Experience distributing beta versions and publishing apps through the App Store and Google Play is preferred.
- Familiarity with backend development, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure is preferred.
- Interest in polished animations and collaboration with Motion Designers is preferred.
- Finnish language skills are a plus.
