Solutions Engineer, CRPM, Charles River Development, VP
State StreetResponsibilities
- Provide pre-sales support to Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Product teams.
- Lead customer discovery, requirements gathering, technical architecture discussions, and data-management strategy recommendations.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proofs of concept, onsite workshops, and technical presentations.
- Lead RFP responses, proposal generation, security audits, and technical pre-sales engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor and provide industry best practices and recommendations to customers and partners.
- Coordinate internal Product, Marketing, Development, and Customer Success teams to support client delivery within buying cycles.
- Communicate customer feedback and requirements to Customer Success and other internal teams.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders ranging from C-level executives to end users.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or consultant serving private-market investors or Fortune 500 companies.
- Experience in infrastructure, real estate, private credit, private equity, private-market diligence, fund management, or process consulting.
- Strong investment-management, corporate-finance, or accounting knowledge; private-markets experience is preferred.
- Hands-on experience developing proofs of concept with modern technologies.
- Strong communication, presentation, analytical, relationship-building, and customer-engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives and entry-level end users and lead strategic technical discussions.
- Preferred experience with business-intelligence platforms and Java, JavaScript, AWS, Perl, Python, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Studying for CFA or CAIA certification is optional.
