Base Salary
$70k - $117k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale Java applications using Spring Boot.
- Define architecture and coding standards and conduct design and code reviews.
- Provide technical direction, mentor junior and mid-level developers, and serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed systems and critical production issues.
- Lead Agile delivery activities including sprint planning, technical estimation, backlog refinement, and alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate with architects, product stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in Java application development, including leading development teams and providing technical direction for enterprise-scale applications.
- Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Experience defining technical standards, conducting design and code reviews, and applying scalable and maintainable application best practices.
- Experience leading teams in an Agile delivery model, including sprint planning, technical estimation, and delivery management using JIRA.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems and production environments.
- Preferred experience mentoring developers and collaborating with architects, product stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and generative AI or AI-assisted software development tools.
