Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical design specifications.
- Drive architectural governance and platform convergence initiatives.
- Plan engineering initiatives and feature delivery while balancing customer outcomes with organizational health.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and assist and mentor development staff.
- Provide technical direction, facilitate engineering discussions, and communicate with executive leadership, peers, and development teams.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, and AI modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, scaling, and improving software systems and analytical system architectures.
- Fluency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products using microservices architectures and extensible REST APIs.
- Experience with continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, cloud modernization, DevOps, AI modernization, LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments is preferred.
- Understanding of security architecture and protocols, including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth, is preferred.
- Experience with AWS and Azure and a background in multi-cloud environments is preferred.
- Minimum ten years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also stated, with flexibility for the right candidate.
