Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Provide architectural direction and leadership to engineering teams.
- Prepare technical design specifications and drive architectural governance activities.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and improve application architecture, reliability, and scalability.
- Drive platform convergence and coordinate engineering initiatives and feature delivery.
- Identify application improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.
- Mentor development staff and support teams in delivering product features.
- Lead technical conversations, foster learning cultures, and communicate with executives, peers, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Lead cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives and translate AI innovation into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in .NET full-stack development is required.
- Minimum 15 years of experience is required; the posting also cites a minimum of 10 years in software development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Significant experience in software architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and system implementation or enhancement.
- Significant experience in analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred experience with DevOps concepts, application monitoring tools, and performance assessments.
- Understanding of security architecture, protocols, and products including Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Experience with AWS and Azure, preferably in multi-cloud environments.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is listed as an additional qualification.
