Base Salary
$120k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build end-to-end product features covering domain models, business logic, and API integrations.
- Deliver incremental, data-informed product releases for consumer-facing financial products.
- Use SQL and analytics tools to evaluate product and system performance.
- Debug event-driven systems using state machines and pub/sub architectures.
- Ship through CI/CD, own implementations in production, and help respond to incidents.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building backend features end to end for production systems.
- Experience developing consumer-facing products and working with event-driven architectures and message queues such as Kafka or Pub/Sub.
- Proficiency designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including authentication, authorization, and rate limiting.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, data modeling, query optimization, SQL, and analytics tools.
- Strong computer science fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control, automated testing, and code review.
- Go experience deployed on GCP and experience in a high-bar engineering environment are valuable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
