Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, document, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Design and implement microservices, APIs, event-driven integrations, cloud-native solutions, and database architectures.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Git, Harness, GitHub Actions, and related tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive improvements.
- Improve application reliability, scalability, observability, performance, security, and automated test coverage.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, security teams, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Lead technical initiatives, act as an escalation point, mentor less experienced staff, and participate in code and design reviews.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale applications.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and modern full-stack development with React.js.
- Experience with event-driven architectures, messaging and streaming platforms, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Harness, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms, plus Git branching strategies.
- Experience developing automated unit tests, integration tests, and test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably GCP or AWS; Azure experience is also acceptable.
- Strong database development and design experience with Oracle or other relational databases, including query optimization, performance tuning, and schema design.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of secure coding, application performance optimization, software design patterns, Agile/Scrum environments, and distributed teams.
- Awareness of Python and its use in automation, scripting, data processing, or AI/ML initiatives.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is desired.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, identity and access management, authentication, authorization, or privileged access management is a plus.
