Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a self-service developer platform that simplifies application deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
- Orchestrate Kubernetes clusters and cloud infrastructure with attention to performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, reusable templates, and other developer productivity tooling.
- Improve reliability through fault tolerance, disaster recovery, observability, and scalable platform operations.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to deliver simple cloud-native solutions and promote best practices.
Requirements
- At least five years of production experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Experience automating workflows and CI/CD pipelines and using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenTelemetry.
- Strong ownership of platform issues and long-term scalability, resilience, and reliability.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and cross-functional teams and continuously develop cloud-native expertise.
