Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SmartCOMM templates, data models, Assembly Rules, and scripting solutions.
- Design and optimize document-generation solutions using XML, XPath, and SmartCOMM Designer.
- Troubleshoot production issues, support defect resolution, and implement preventative measures.
- Monitor and improve template performance for efficient document generation at scale.
- Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for templates, configurations, and solutions.
- Collaborate with business analysts and quality assurance teams to align solutions with business and technical requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of professional development experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SmartCOMM development and implementation experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of XML, XPath, and SmartCOMM Designer.
- Understanding of SmartCOMM development best practices, reusable template design, performance optimization, and maintainable coding standards.
- Graduate or above qualification.
- Insurance-domain knowledge, particularly involving policy documents and related processes, is desirable.
