Responsibilities
- Develop applications and complete development activities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems, identify problems and data availability, define reporting requirements, and address system design issues with some oversight.
- Assist with the design, configuration, and development of custom applications and software modules.
- Use Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub scripting while following standard practices.
- Design and develop applications using REST/SOAP and JSON/XML integrations with IntegrationHub and MID Server where applicable.
- Work within a team to improve the platform and apply software development lifecycle and Agile practices.
- Provide software design, development, and quality oversight for complex software systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least three years of web and software development experience.
- Top candidates should be ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrators.
- Knowledge of software design, software engineering principles, systems development lifecycle processes, secured web design and development, and systems and network administration.
- Demonstrated knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, J2E, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, virtualization technologies, and Team Foundation Server.
- Ability to analyze issues, diagnose causes, determine goals, recommend corrective actions, and communicate requirements and system-level concepts to nontechnical personnel.
- Preferred master's degree.
- Preferred healthcare industry and systems integration experience.
- BizTalk experience is a valuable plus.
- Must live in the Salt Lake City area or be willing to relocate.
