Responsibilities
- Develop applications and software modules within the ServiceNow platform.
- Analyze existing systems, identify problems and data availability, define reporting requirements, and address system design issues.
- Configure and develop custom ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Design and develop REST/SOAP integrations using JSON/XML, IntegrationHub, and MID Server where applicable.
- Work within a team to improve the ServiceNow platform and follow software development and quality practices.
- Discuss requirements modeling, development, and system-level requirements with non-technical personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Three years of web and software development experience.
- Knowledge of .NET, C#, Java, J2E, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, SharePoint, System Center Operations Manager, virtualization technologies, and Team Foundation Server.
- Strong knowledge of software design and software engineering principles.
- Expertise in secure web design and development.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes and Agile methodologies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator certification is identified as a qualification of top candidates.
- Healthcare industry and systems integration experience are preferred.
- A master's degree and BizTalk experience are preferred.
