Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain reliable software services and applications.
- Apply software engineering principles across system design, API design, data modeling, implementation, testing, debugging, and code review.
- Own technical solutions within one or more ML Platform services while balancing maintainability, scalability, reliability, and delivery.
- Collaborate with engineering and partner teams to define requirements, resolve dependencies, and deliver cross-domain solutions.
- Use monitoring, operational data, and production feedback to troubleshoot issues and improve service performance and reliability.
- Evaluate and safely integrate AI/ML-enabled solutions into production software.
- Contribute to architecture and implementation decisions for distributed systems and multi-service initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional experience developing and delivering production software with ownership of services or defined technical components.
- Proficiency in low-level system design, API design, data modeling, algorithms, testing, debugging, and code quality practices.
- Experience designing, implementing, and operating reliable services, including monitoring, incident response, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and apply technical judgment to solve complex problems.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems or multi-service architectures at meaningful scale.
- Preferred: ability to lead architecture and implementation decisions within a service, technical domain, or cross-service initiative.
- Preferred: operational excellence involving automation, observability, resilience engineering, and data-driven reliability improvements.
- Preferred: experience applying AI/ML concepts, tools, or workflows to production software.
- Preferred: familiarity with full-stack or cross-domain engineering practices.
