Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Own the technical design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, digital platforms, integrations, APIs, and decoupled services.
- Lead complex solution design decisions and ensure appropriate use of out-of-the-box Guidewire capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple squads or workstreams and govern solution designs, code, configurations, and engineering standards.
- Own integration architecture and ensure performance, scalability, reliability, resilience, testing, and production readiness.
- Guide teams on cloud-native patterns, DevSecOps, and observability practices.
- Lead root-cause analysis for severe or recurring incidents and drive permanent fixes to reduce defects, repeat incidents, and change-related failures.
- Collaborate with architects, Business Systems Analysts, Product Owners, ADM, QE, SRE, and business stakeholders.
- Mentor intermediate and junior Guidewire developers and build technical depth within teams.
- Drive reusable components, accelerators, blueprints, standardization, and simplification.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of Guidewire development experience, with the posting also referencing 3+ years.
- Strong expertise across multiple Guidewire products, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, and Jutro.
- Strong experience with complex integrations and distributed systems.
- Experience managing technical delivery across multiple teams or modules.
- Strong understanding of property and casualty insurance processes and regulatory context.
- Experience owning production stability and operational outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform delivery and operations.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD, observability tools, large-scale Guidewire programs, multi-country implementations, regulated enterprise environments, and architecture or platform standards forums.
