Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize AI frameworks such as SGLang.
- Contribute framework improvements to public upstream projects.
- Implement distributed algorithms including model/data parallelism, parameter servers, and asynchronous data communication.
- Transform neural-network computational graph representations and develop machine-learning and deep-learning primitives.
- Profile distributed deep-learning models, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose optimizations.
- Optimize code for multiple computing hardware backends and collaborate with machine-learning and deep-learning researchers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in modern C++ and Python.
- Foundational knowledge of deep-learning theory and some hands-on experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English communication.
- Experience with performance optimization or high-efficiency kernel development is preferred.
- Experience with PyTorch, SGLang, or vLLM is preferred.
- Experience with LLMs and deep understanding of model structure is preferred.
