Responsibilities
- Research, develop, prototype, evaluate, and productize algorithms for image and signal processing, geometry pattern handling, high-performance computing, and machine learning.
- Develop, integrate, debug, and unit-test C++ software on Linux.
- Analyze big data, design software architecture, and perform data mining.
- Collaborate with global teams to identify, analyze, solve, and validate solutions.
- Follow KLA’s software development process and write design and development documentation in English.
- Travel globally for short-term customer support and training.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical field, or a bachelor’s degree with two years of related work experience.
- Background in at least one of image processing, signal processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, computational geometry, data analysis, high-performance computing, or machine learning.
- Experience with C, C++, and Python coding.
- Skills in algorithm design, software development, and debugging.
- Ability to independently identify, analyze, and solve problems.
- Fluent English and strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to travel globally.
- Knowledge of optics and semiconductor processes is a plus.
